"America's First Jet Ace"
This kit amazed me with the finish product. Aimed at young beginners in modelling and cheap in the price too, they will have built a model to be proud of. I built this over four evenings with the only extra detail added being the display base and pilot. In the kit, there is a total of 31 parts which make up the model and the mouldings are very good. The decals in the kit are also good quality too and are pre-shaped for the airbrake's. I built this model in the colours of Maj. James Jabara who was the America's first jet ace pilot.
The base is a piece of routered MDF with the runway painted onto it and scenic scatter added to the runway edges.
