Renault Magnum 3
My first truck project since the min 90's and one with quite a bit of work to do on it yet. The kit is an Italeri magnum 3 kit, with a list of aftermarket parts to go on it. These include a RHD dash, super singles wheels, susies leads and brackets, two sets of fog light brackets, etched detailing set and custom seats. The kit comes with a V8 engine, which was never fitted to the Magnum 3's, these have straight six engines of which I have sourced for converting to a Renault engine.
So far, the chassis is the only piece of work that's been done. The steering box converted from LHD to RHD and the mould lines are being cleaned up. There are a few parts which do not match up properly and need work done to correct this. Generally, the kit is not up to Italeri's normal quality.
