Ford Escort Mk2 Drift Car
A recent project that's connected to a group build on the SPC forum. This is a model I built 15 to 20 years ago and decided last year to rebuild it. When it was originally built, I put a V8 engine in it for a laugh. Now it has all been stripped down ready for the rebuild. A group build was started by setting up some drift teams and I decided to join in.
The model is planned to have a Nissan RB26 engine fitted, but this will need some modification to the body and chassis. First I need to repair some damage to the bodyshell when the wrong stripper was used when I was removing the old paint. Not much has been done on this so far, but there is other more important projects on the go for now.
